<p>Lavender oil is going to be the most effective treatment for sunburns as it gives off a very nice cooling effect for all of the minor burns, which is exactly what sunburns are.  You can also mix Aloe Vera juice and lavender oil and apply the solution to your sunburn, as aloe promotes cell growth and decreases the pain.  Oil that you can use is peppermint oil, as it is known for its cooling agent’s right inside the oil.</p>
<p>There are a few other essential oils that can be used, including chamomile, rose, tea tree, geranium and marjoram, however, the two listed above are the most popular!</p>
